Outdoor Boudoir Sessions

Do you want your boudoir photos captured in nature?

Our bodies, no matter their shape or size, are natural. So why not photograph them in the great outdoors? We have a secure location just a short drive from our commercial studio in Stockton, Illinois. We talk a short walk through the woods to a creek on privately owned land. It’s a stunning piece of property with endless photographic opportunities.

Why shoot in the wild?

Nature has a way of calling to us. What better way to complement something so natural to us - our bodies - than to be surrounded but God’s perfect backdrop. We are all uniquely made and being somewhere so organic emphasis every inch of our skin. Don’t worry though! You don’t have to frolic au natural (unless you want to!). We bring along bug spray, water friendly shoes, and a blanket to change on! Have your own ideas? Let’s incorporate them! Boudoir is a custom experience meant to celebrate you! So, if you have a way or idea that represents you, your session can be custom arranged for YOU.

How does it work?

Outdoor sessions are an add on to your boudoir session. Once we have finished with the indoor portion, we take a short trip a few miles from town to a remote location. The property is absolutely stunning! It is very private. We talk a walk down a mowed path through the woods to a few locations along a creek. For the walk, I recommend my clients wear long pants and shoes that are water friends (crocs, flip flops, or rubber boots work well). The creek is lined with rocks that can be rough and unsettled so they may move a bit. Once in our perfect location, this part of the session lasts up to 60 minutes and includes one outfit change. The fresh water, birds chirping, wind in your hair make this experience a rush and exhilarating!
